Thomas and his recital partner Vidas Vaitkevicius will perform selections from Vaughan Williams’ Songs of Travel and Schubert’s Winterreise in a recital for St. Albans Chamber Opera.
Themed around the journeys faced by the protagonists of these famous song cycles, the recital will explore these two legendary composer’s different approaches to the themes of nature, winter and loss.
